TCEB OFFERS SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO THE PEOPLE OF FRANCE

On behalf of the Thai business events industry, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau or TCEB extends its heartfelt condolences to the people of France in the wake of the tragic events in Paris.

The business events sectors of Thailand and France have enjoyed a deep relationship over a long period, with Thailand welcoming 16,471 French MICE travellers in the first three quarters of the 2015 fiscal year, the most of any European country.

Against this backdrop of close collaboration, it is with deepest sincerity that the TCEB team conveys its sadness at the tragic loss of life that has occurred.

As previously confirmed by Foreign Ministry Spokesman Sek Wannamethee, there were no Thai causalities in the attacks.

For the benefit of Thai MICE travellers to France and French MICE travellers to Thailand, TCEB has prepared a brief update on the situation.
