Team Thailand Reaffirms Bangkok's Readiness for ICCA Congress 2023

On 9 November at the closing of ICCA Congress 2022 in Krakow, Poland, Team Thailand, led by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) President Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya took the stage to reaffirm Bangkok’s readiness as the host city for next year Congress, slated to take place during 12-15 November 2023.

Vowing the crowd of more than 900 Congress participants representing associations and business events destinations and operators from around the world, Team Thailand also comprised Charge d'Affaires from the Royal Thai Embassy in Poland; Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prague Office; ICCA Honorary Member in Thailand, and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) team proudly representing 2023 Congress’s host city and its newly achieved Most Improved status at Global Destination Sustainability Awards.

The city’s latest sustainability victory resonates with its aim for next year Congress. As part of TCEB’s Next Host Destination speech, Chiruit said “Creativity, Sustainability and Infinite Possibilities are the 3 pillars ICCA Congress 2023 in Bangkok will highlight. On top of that, we are committed to making the Congress a true carbon neutral event. ICCA Congress 2023 will also feature Bangkok Vision as a backdrop, and I invite you all to experience the city at its fullest potential.”

It is forecast that the Bangkok edition in 2023 will see more than 1,000 participants during 12-15 November.
