Bangkok International Auto Salon2013 proved largest collection of customized cars and accessories

The Bangkok International Auto Salon (BIAS), the largest after market and customized car show in the ASEAN region, has entered its second year and promises an even more spectacular array of customized cars and accessories, along with a large number of exciting activities. The show is being held from June 20 – 30, 2013 at Challenger Hall 2 – 3, Impact Muang Thong Thani. And with the show area being doubled to 40,000 square meters this year, the 2013 BIAS is considered as the largest customized car show in the ASEAN region, with more than 300 exhibitors from Asia and Europe taking part and reinforces Thailand’s excellent capability to stage Asia’s leading modified car and auto accessories show, as well as creating business opportunities for Thai and foreign companies alike.


The main highlight at this year’s show is the Top Secret Nissan Super GT-R1200, which is powered by a 1,000-horsepower engine and has a hair-raising top speed of 377.246km/h recorded at the Nardo Top Speed Challenge in Italy.Even major automobile manufacturers are taking part in the BIAS with their own customized vehicles. Official distributors of Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Isuzu and Subaru cars has been displayed customized models from its product lineup along with special edition models.Also watch out for special models from BMW, Mini as well as a collection of supercars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche, Lotus, etc.


Commenting on the international of the exhibition, Mr. Chiruit Isarangkul Na Ayuthaya, TCEB’s Vice President Administration and Strategic Support, said: Bangkok International Auto Salon is a very unique event that has synergies of international exhibitors inclusive of car manufacturers, auto part and accessories and has a proven track record of success since its first time Thailand last year.
