Gumpong Nai Dong Prue (Darul Ibada Community Enterprise)

Gumpong Nai Dong Prue, is the nickname of the ‘Darul Ibada Community Enterprise’. Gumpong is Malay language which means island or village in the water, while Prue refers to the name of the tree that is found in the area. Here, locals in the Muslim community in Thung Khru area still makes a living from agricultural activities such as harvesting coconuts and Bang Mod oranges as well as farming goats and fish. Moreover, they also generate income from tourism activities such as boat tours that take visitors to see the way of agricultural life of Muslim farmers.
