Khlong Rang Jorakae Homestay Community Enterprise was founded when 5 families in the area joined together to bring tourism to the area as a way to develop the community. With the introduction of the boat tour route, the families were able to persuade locals in the area to care for Khlong Rang Jorakae or Rang Jorakae Canal which had been neglected and overgrown with water hyacinth. Today, visitors can participate in creative activities such as gathering water hyacinth to make fertilizers for use in the community.
